Headband covered in opaque white silk reverse satin with “Star of Bethlehem” flower appliqués in pure silk organza and tulle. The heart of each flower is embellished with Japanese seed beads. This precious hair accessory is made with millinery techniques: after a hardening treatment of the fabric, each layer is cut and modeled with millinery tools, decorated with beads and finally sewn on the base of the headband. Headband base width 1 cm (0,39 inches); decoration height (in the highest part) approx 4 cm (1,5 inches).

Each creation by LA BOTTEGA LIVENTINA is entirely handmade in my studio in Motta di Livenza (near Venice, Italy) in a clean and smoke-free environment. Manual processing takes several hours of patient work and guarantees each piece its uniqueness.
